 Jan 2019 “Z Talk” Show – with guest Carter

Carter is 11 years old and a 6th grader.  He plays soccer, takes piano lessons, and loves his painting class.  He enjoys being a Boy Scout and has aspirations to be an Eagle Scout.  He is an avid drawer, loves fishing, and is found often reading graphic novels.  He would like to be a pastor, movie director, or video game creator someday.  His spiritual gifts are teaching, faith, and pastoring.  God speaks to him by giving him things to draw or paint.  After his artwork is complete, he searches for a verse from the Bible to go with it and asks God who he’s supposed to bless with his art.  His faith is unwavering; he seems to have deep insight on the things of God for being such a young child.  One of his favorite memories is discovering the calling on his life in the summer of 2017 while he was in Guatemala.  He was baptized there and has deep compassion for those that are less fortunate. Carter John is his full name and together translates to “a transporter of the Good News, because he has God’s favor”.  His favorite verse is Matthew 7:3 – “Why do you look at the speck of dust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”
